We believe that quality products should be available to everyone at affordable prices, without compromise. Our decorated cakes currently sell around $20 in our Manitoba Street location, compared to $35 – $80 from “the other guys”. Still, all Sara’s Old Fashioned Ice Cream products are crafted locally in small batches and decorated by hand with only the finest ingredients – a true premium ice cream product.
In addition to Bendick’s ice cream outlet at 8262 Manitoba St, Vancouver, you can find our products at many local independent grocers. If you don’t see Sara’s, ask them to order us in. You will also find us at these chain stores: Buy-Low Foods, Federated Co-op, Fresh St. Market, IGA, Nesters Market, Safeway and Quality Foods (availability varies by location).

Every production batch is made and packaged by hand in our Vancouver facility in small quantities to ensure high quality.
Our ice cream has a smooth, rich texture because our cream contains 12% fat. Economy ice creams use only 10% and frozen dairy desserts even less.

For when 1.4L isn’t enough to feed your crowd or you want to put your own special touch on it, our undecorated cakes allow for personal decorating.
Each cake contains 2.6L of premium ice cream on a cookie crust (containing gluten). One cake will serve about 10-12 people.

Bendick’s products are made in a facility that processes dairy, gluten, peanuts and other nuts. All equipment and facilities are thoroughly cleaned before beginning a nut, dairy, or gluten free product (and before beginning any recipe). We disclose this to protect the health of any consumers with severe allergies.
